Stevie Wonder Does Spot for Jerry Brown

Stevie Wonder has taped a radio ad urging voters to the polls to vote for Jerry Brown.

“Like me, Jerry Brown believes health care should be available for all people, especially children, the elderly and the disabled,” Wonder says. “Californians need jobs, and Brown has a proven record. … Long before it was trendy, Brown helped make California a leader in solar and wind energy."

The spot is from the independent org Working Californians, which has funding from the SEIU California, the IBEW and the California Teachers Assn. and are aimed at boosting turnout among African American voters.

Meanwhile, Funny or Die introduced its own (nonpartisan) get-out-the vote spot, "10 Minutes," featuring Alyssa Milano, Eric McCormack, Kal Penn and Ron Livingston.
