Who's Financing Prop 8 Trial?

In her column on Wednesday, Maureen Dowd interviews Gavin Newsom but also makes mention of two names who are funding the plaintiffs' case on Perry vs. Schwarzenegger: Steve Bing and David Geffen.

The American Foundation for Equal Rights, the non profit org that is backing the case, hasn't released an official list of donors, but it's not hard to try to guess who some of them are, based on the members of the foundation's board, including Bruce Cohen and Rob Reiner.

Reiner, by the way, was among the observers at the proceedings on Tuesday, along with screenwriter John August.
