Road to January 20: Ashton and Demi

The day before the inauguration, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore will headline a ServiceNation "breakfast dialogue" at D.C.'s Ballou Senior High School, where they will premiere the "Presidential Pledge" of celebrities making service commitments.

Joining them will be Martin Luther King III, D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty, Tobey Maguire and Time editor in chief Richard Stengel.

Obama's team has dedicated Jan. 19 --- Martin Luther King Jr. Day --- as a day of service, with many of the balls and events tied to various non profit orgs.

At the conclusion of the breakfast, the guests are invited to participate in a service project with coalition partners at Simon Elementary School (401 Mississippi Avenue, SE), just blocks from Ballou Senior High School. Volunteers will work on beautification projects ranging from painting classrooms and murals to transforming the library.
