Ron Howard's Obama Time Warp
How much does Ron Howard want Barack Obama to be president?
So much so that he's stepped back into the role of Opie and Richie Cunningham to make his endorsement. As he says in this new Funny or Die video, he and Andy Griffith step back in time to play Opie and Andy Taylor, and then he and Henry Winkler reprise their roles as Richie Cunningham and the Fonz. All three are backing Obama.
"The three of us agree that with Barack Obama, we Americans have an opportunity to elect an extraordinary president," Howard says.
Don't miss Andy's warning to Opie over the butterfly ballots.

Heartbreakingly sad.

This is definitely one of my favorite PSA's to date. I think it's the nostalgia factor more than anything else because I didn't find it particularly funny at all.
I could have done without that close up while Ron had his nose clipped though. That would have been nice.

This was done so well and so tastefully that I think it should be shown on television (primetime). It made me reflect back when I was a kid myself, in a simplier time, when things seemed to be much better, with more certainty. Everyone should have a chance to see this one! Obama should be proud of this. It's definitely the icing on the cake!

Good to see Opie and the Fonz again. I'm with you! Here's hoping we make it! Thanks for the video.

True what the Fonz said, so many people voted for Bush each time thinking it was a good thing, and it has turned out to be the most horrible mistake ever. And of course, no one, like The Fonz, will ever admit they were totally wrong and try to correct the course our country has taken.
I was raised with the belief that our country was never an aggressor, but always a support for what is right and just. Our nation is not only an aggressor now, but an invader with bad intentions. It looks to the world that we would rather support our military complex and our arms manufacturing than talk to people who we have falsely been led to believe are aggressors against us. WE NEED CHANGE or we as a nation, will all die stupid.
