Oprah Returns for Obama

Oprah Winfrey will raise money for Barack Obama on Friday during a Democratic National Committee Women's Leader Leadership Forum that is also being hosted by Women for Obama.

Tickets start at $2,500, with various levels given to fund-raisers who collect up to $100,000, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Winfrey also will appear at a private reception with Michelle Obama, where tickets will go for $28,500.

The events will not be open to the press.

Winfrey's last public appearance for Obama came in January, when she appeared at a rally in Los Angeles for the candidate along with Michelle Obama, Caroline Kennedy and Maria Shriver. She last held a fund-raiser for Obama at her home near Santa Barbara in September, 2007.
