Ellen's Voice

As supporters of gay marriage face an upward climb in defeating a California amendment to ban same-sex nuptials, Barack Obama will appear on "The Ellen Show" on Wednesday.

It will be interesting to see if host Ellen DeGeneres asks Obama about his opposition to Proposition 8, which would ban gay marriage in California, as she did of Joseph Biden when he guested on the show in an appearance that aired on Monday (below). There has been some grumbling among opponents of Proposition 8 that the Obama campaign should be doing more to help their cause, or at least be more visible in their views.

Obama taped the interview today via satellite from a rally in Miami.
