Jon Stewart’s Airport Sightseeing
Arriving to Minneapolis today for the Republican National Convention, I couldn't help but make a stop to one of the landmarks at the airport: The infamous men's bathroom where Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was caught last year for allegedly seeking a public stall tryst.
It turns out that many other arriving guests had the same idea, including Jon Stewart and the cast of "The Daily Show," as well as a host of other passersby. Stewart and his team posed for pictures before making their way to St. Paul, where his show will tape all week. A "Daily Show" billboard on I-494 greets conventiongoers with the message, "Welcome, rich white oligarchs!"
At one point, an airport employee in a golf cart came by and stopped, pointed to the men's room sign and said something about the landmark, as if proud of the attraction. "I didn't understand a thing he was saying," Stewart said.
Stewart was so moved at being there that he declined to elaborate on his thoughts of being at the site: "It's personal, private."
A fellow writer then emerged from the bathroom with a photo, reporting that the stall was "narrow."
Here's his reaction to being at what he calls "Mount Rushmore."

A narrow stall, perhaps -- but not too narrow for a man with a wide stance.

Cute joke, but wrong terminal. The scene of the crime happened in the smaller Humphrey terminal.

Shouldn't McCain give his exceptance speech from there and instead of having someone doing sign language they can have someone tap it out from a bathroom stall.

No it didn't, he's in that exact spot( I'm an Airline Pilot ). Thats the exact bathroom. The HHH Terminal only has Sun Country, Frontier and a few other small airlines at it. The notorious bathroom is in the main pedestrian-mall.

They could have behind McCain "A bathroom we can believe in."

Hope you've all seen the Bobble-Feet Stall.
Kinda like a bobble-head doll, only better.
It was a promotion given out by the St. Paul Saints,
a minor league baseball team.
Pretty funny stuff.
They might still be on ebay.
Last time I checked they were pretty pricey though.

A narrow stall for a man, a giant foot tap for mankind...

He wasn't allegedly seeking a public stall tryst. He pleaded guilty. Get your facts straight.

It is the Conservative evangelical republican Mecca.

It was reported Larry Craig wasn't even wearing a American Flag lapel pin aat the time of the arrest.
The Senator from Idaho, larry Craig Memorial.
Chisled in the granite tile of the stall,
" Let me say this again, I am not gay and never have been gay ".
Had gay affairs maybe, but not gay.
And President Bush didn't help matters when Sen Craig made public statements of "Not Being Gay", By Bush saying you have to keep repeating the propaganda over and over to get his message to sink in.
As larry Craig repeated his message over and over.
Was Sen Larry Craig ever in the White House the same time Jeff Gannon was?
Someone needs to check the guest sign in books to the White House?

The "Iran...I ran so far away" video is awesome. Is that guy really in Iran? How did an American kid get to wonder around Iran asking questions like where are the nukes? Either way that kid is hilarious, was that on the Daily show? I don't remember it.

Craig should have been tapping out his mating call over in the handicapped stall to accomodate his "wide stance".
