The Russert Miracles

Tammy Haddad writes in Newsweek of three of the most amazing aspects of this week's remembrances of Tim Russert.

John McCain and Barack Obama were seated next to each other at Russert's funeral --- and the candidates appeared to be enjoying each other's company; Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance via satellite to sing "Thunder Road"; and the final was the appearance of a rainbow over the Kennedy Center, following a service that ended with a rendition of "Over the Rainbow."

Haddad writes, "When asked his reaction to explain the sudden appearance of the rainbow at the exact moment, Luke Russert, his sparkly smile so reminiscent of his father's, said: "Is anyone still an atheist now?""
