Enemies List

Updated

That, and other news, in today's Political Panorama.

It can't be much surprise who in the media is in the doghouse with the Clintons --- Matt Drudge, Todd Purdum and all of MSNBC. The New York Times gathers a list of people no longer in their favor, and writes that even Douglas Band, an aide to former President Bill Clinton, has a long memory. Says Bill Richardson, “I know they’re unhappy, but I’ve been on these lists before.”

Duvall for McCain: Robert Duvall turned up at a series of fund-raisers for John McCain that raised some $2 million for his presidential campaign. “I’m not from Hollywood,” Duvall said. “I’m from Virginia.” During the primaries, Duvall hosted a fund-raiser at his Virginia home for Rudy Giuliani.

J.Lo for B.O.: Jennifer Lopez paid a visit to Barack Obama's Senate office on Tuesday --- but was reticent about saying why she was there. But she was noticed. From the Hill: "The Hollywood star, sporting a black cocktail dress and carrying an orange handbag, surprised staffers when she was spotted walking through the Hart atrium and taking the elevator to Obama’s seventh-floor office."

Back on Top: Citing earning power and other factors, Forbes names Oprah Winfrey the most powerful celebrity.

Cusack Spot: John Cusack stars in a new MoveOn ad targeting John McCain.
