D.C Turns Out for Tim

Politicians, journalists and other dignitaries paid tribute to Tim Russert in a moving service at the Kennedy Center --- highlighted by Bruce Springsteen singing an acoustic "Thunder Road" via satellite from Europe.

Earlier, Russert was mourned at a funeral mass, with a similar turnout of Washington names. Barack Obama and John McCain were seated next to each other, per the family's request, according to Time's The Page.
