If It's Tuesday...

That, and other news, in today's Political Panorama.
Indiana and North Carolina primary results will come in when all polls have closed at 7 p.m. (EDT)...
Pander Bears: Back in 1992, as he faced an insurgent Bill Clinton in the primaries, presidential candidate Paul Tsongas took to calling him a "pander bear," for Clinton's seeming willingness to adapt to just about any voting bloc. Indiana and North Carolina actually has both candidates pursuing NASCAR votes, swigs of beer and, delivering speeches from the back of pickup trucks.
Webby Awards: Will.i.am wins a special citation for his Obama music video, and Stephen Colbert also garners a prize.
Russert Wins: Tim Russert's interview with Barack Obama on "Meet the Press" beat George Stephanopoulos' sitdown with Hillary Clinton.
Launch Party: Heather Thomas debuts her new novel "Trophies" --- a satirical take on Hollywood "second wives" who actually hold most of the cards in the industry's political involvement --- at a book launch party at Barney's in Beverly Hills tonight. Hosts are Lisa Eisner, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Arianna Huffington, Gigi-Levangie Grazer, Art Luna and Lynda Resnick.
Smoke Out: Producer Lindsay Doran appears on Capitol Hill on Thursday for a briefing on smoking in the movies. With her will be Amanda Cannatelli, whose mother died of emphysema at age 31 "after being influenced to start smoking by on-screen smoking by notable characters like Sandy in Grease." The event is being organized by the American Legacy Foundation.
Hmmm: Fox News radio's John Gibson on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow: “Oooh, lesbians. Yummy.”
