Elizabeth Taylor: Hillary is "Not a Flibbertijibbet"
Hollywood royalty is restless to see this race settled.
Elizabeth Taylor, who endorsed Hillary Clinton in January, 2007, the first week of her campaign, released a statement Friday urging voters in Indiana and North Carolina to choose the New York senator.
Per CNN, Taylor said, “It would be magnificent for our country if Senator Clinton won the votes, hearts and minds of the people in Indiana and North Carolina on Tuesday. She’s a brilliant teacher and powerful leader. We all know what she’s about. We know what she isn’t. Senator Clinton is not a flibbertijibbet. She’s strong.”
“It’s also important for great leaders to have a sense of humor about themselves. The future of our great country rests in the hands of the next president. Who sits in the Oval Office will be determined greatly by the citizens of Indiana and North Carolina. In my heart, I know they will choose wisely and they will choose well.”
There is no such word as flibbertijibbet, but she probably means flibbertigibbet, which is a "chattering or flighty, light-headed person."

Musical fans will recall the word "flibbertigibbet" from "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?," sung by the nuns in "The Sound of Music":
"How do you solve a problem like Maria?
How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?
How do you find a word that means Maria?
A flibbertijibbet! A will-o'-the wisp! A clown!
"Many a thing you know you'd like to tell her
Many a thing she ought to understand
But how do you make her stay,
And listen to all you say?
How do you keep a wave upon the sand?"
"Oh, how do you solve a problem like Maria?
How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand?"

So, she spelled it phonetically. So what?
