Air America radio host Randi Rhodes is the latest media personality to take the Clinton-Obama rhetoric a bit too far. She's been suspended from her show after she made vulgar attacks on Hillary Clinton at an event in San Francisco.

“Air America encourages strong opinions about public affairs but does not condone such abusive, ad hominem language by our hosts,” said the network's chairman, Charlie Kireker. The network called Rhodes suspension "indefinite."

Rhodes also made derogatory remarks about Geraldine Ferraro, in the way of Ferraro's controversial remarks about Barack Obama.

MSNBC's David Shuster was suspended for several weeks after he described Chelsea Clinton as being "pimped out" because she was making calls to superdelegates for her mother.

Rhodes made the remarks at an event sponsored by Air America's Bay Area affiliate KKGN on March 22. But word didn't spread about them until they were posted on You Tube earlier this week --- thus making Rhodes the latest in a line of famous figures who have been caught in the crosshairs of web video. (Clinton herself is the latest viction. See: Bosnia and Sinbad).
